Pavè could be described as a home, whos heart is centered around its products.
If you walk by the shop, the first thing you will probably think is that you’re passing by a living room set on display inside the shop windows: the furnishing choices are incredibly well-thought and fit perfectly with the location, so much so that you’ll feel as though you’re entering a modern version of a typical grandmother’s house….a very special grandma, actually!
Wooden tables, colorful chairs, armchairs, small canary cages, and little wooden boxes; windows that display teacups, books, and original handmade biscuit boxes. Everything is enveloped in a sweet, singular scent that fills the shop. Pavé was born as a common dream shared by Diego, Giovanni and Luca. Diego and Giovanni come from a hotel management school, while Luca was originally a journalist. “Food is equal to the people you share it with,” says Luca, suggesting that you shouldn’t take food too seriously.
Joined by a young team of staff members, they bring to life this informal venue, where quality products stand at the center of attention, and the same quality is found in all of the services offered, in the music, and in the venue’s general atmosphere: a type of quality which represents a relaxing, feel-good environment. One of Pave’s added values consists in the fact that all of its products are made right inside the shop; from the selection of raw materials, to the various preparations, to the packaging: the boys carefully take care of every detail of the production process.
And you can see this process with your own eyes, because the venue’s laboratory is set right on display inside the shop behind a glass window pane.
One of the best things Pavé has to offer are its bakery products, each and every one baked with natural yeast, just like in old times: an ingredient that dictates the product’s timing, genuine and easy to digest nature,and an ingredient that allows the products to last longer. Also, the simplicity tied to the traditions and used in this venue will probably strike you: here, you won’t have brunches, but breakfast and snack times.
The shop’s opening hours give yet another connotation to the venue, in an attempt to divide the different moments of the day with precision and order: breakfast, lunch, snack time, and happy hour. In the daily lunch specials, you’ll always find at least a vegetarian and a vegan sandwich choice. And what about dessert? Well, try the “veganina” and you won’t be disappointed!
